The successful ressurection of the Appleby Jazz Festival, greatly missed as one of the best of the festivals promoting jazz in the UK continues into it's second year due to the bravery of enthusiast Dave Masters under the name THE TITLEY JAZZ FESTIVAL. Trio Records has featured several recordings from the Appleby Jazz Festival including recordings featuring Art Themen, Bobby Wellins, John Donaldson, Mark Edwards, Mornington Lockett, Peter King and Spike Wells as well as involved in the recording and production of CDs featuring the Stan Tracey Big Band, released on Resteamed, and a recording by the Gordon beck Trio. And many more of the artists recorded by Trio Records have been an intrical part of the Appleby Jazz festival including David Newton, Steve Melling, Henry Lowther, Andrew Cleyndert, Chris Biscoe, Dave Barry, Arnie Somogyi, Norma Winstone, Clark Tracey, Stan Tracey, Steve Brown and Guy Barker.
