About Trio Records

Established in 1997 by the bassist Andy Cleyndert, Trio Records was set up primarily to put out music that was created in conditions that are most suited to its production, away from the studio and mostly made during live performance, whilst taking care not to impair musical fidelity.

In fact a great deal of care has been taking in reproducing as far as is possible a true live sound of the musicians rather than an over produced clinical product. All the recordings are made using state of the art recording equipment.

Andy Cleyndert has been a mainstay of the UK Jazz scene for the past twenty years and has a vast array of experience to hand.
